The Instances

This is where you will find all your instances.

The left panel consists of a complete list of your instances with a few filters available, to help you find the one you are looking for. You can filter the list by clicking the button and choose one or more instance types and/or applications categories. You can also use the text field to search in the instance names. You can also add any instance using the Add button. It will display the entire list of available applications. Choose the one you need and fill the form!

The right panel displays the details of the instance selected in the left one. The first block shows: * Name * Instance ID * Creation date * Updated date * Description

The second displays the specific configuration of this instance. Name and Description are not part of it simply because they have no role for the SenHub in collecting and processing associated metrics. Use the Modify button to both change Details and/or Configuration.

The Token keeps you in control of who can access your data. It is part of the instance-specific endpoint used to request the data. You can safely share this endpoint with a partner for temporary joint work; when that ends, you don't have to recreate the instance — just click the Renew button. This generates a new random token, and the instance is then reachable only on the new endpoint.

The Endpoint is the main thing you'll need: the string to paste into your monitoring tool to collect the metrics through SenHub. The Copy button is there to save you time.

The Metrics part shows the collected data in the selected JSON format. You can change it by expanding the list and clicking the one you want. The Test button will force a new interrogation and also apply the new format if changed. The Copy button will copy the whole formatted output if you need to put it in a specific text editor.

The Delete button at the very top right corner of this right panel will destroy for good the instance you are editing. A pop-up window will appear to confirm or not your choice.
